I’m really happy to be me, and I’d like to think people like me more because I’m happy with myself and not because I refuse to conform to anything.

I’ve never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines. I represent the majority of women, and I’m very proud of that.

I didn’t talk to anyone about [postpartum depression]. I was very reluctant.. Four of my friends felt the same way I did, and everyone was too embarrassed to talk about it.

The first thing to do is be happy with yourself and appreciate your body-only then should you try to change things about yourself.

I have insecurities, of course, but I don’t hang out with anyone who points them out to me.

I think I remind everyone of themselves. Not saying everyone is my size, but it’s relatable because I’m not perfect, and I think a lot of people are portrayed as perfect, unreachable and untouchable.

Most women would not be happy being me. People say, ‘But you’re alone.’ But I don’t feel alone. I feel very un-alone.

Please stop debating about whether or not I aged well. Unfortunately it hurts all 3 of my feelings…

People don’t care about what someone says about you in a movie – or even what you say, right? They care about what you build. And if you can make something that makes people’s life better, then that’s something that’s really good.

A man is like a fraction whose numerator is what he is and whose denominator is what he thinks of himself. The larger the denominator, the smaller the fraction.

Loving yourself…does not mean being self-absorbed or narcissistic, or disregarding others. Rather it means welcoming yourself as the most honored guest in your own heart, a guest worthy of respect, a lovable companion.

It doesn’t have to take over your life, it doesn’t have to define you as a person, it’s just important that you ask for help. It’s not a sign of weakness.

It is amazing how complete is the delusion that beauty is goodness.

My fingers are long and beautiful, as, it has been well documented, are various other parts of my body.

The only service a friend can really render is to keep up your courage by holding up to you a mirror in which you can see a noble image of yourself.

I didn’t have high self-esteem when I was a teenager, as I think most teenagers don’t.

I do an hour’s yoga and go running every day. Then I see a picture of myself and I still look like a skinny, potbellied idiot – and I thought I had turned into this superhunk!
