Zen Proverb

The wild geese do not intend to cast their reflections. The water has no mind to receive their images.

The ordinary mind is the way.

To follow the path, look to the master, follow the master, walk with the master, see through the master, become the master.

Before enlightnment, chop wood, carry water. After enlightnment, chop wood, carry water.

What was never lost can never be found.

When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice. The Bible tells us, ‘How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity.

I pray Thee, O God, that I may be beautiful within.

To live is to suffer, to survive is to find some meaning in the suffering.

Be the witness of your thoughts. You are what observes, not what you observe.

It’s all God’s will: you can die in your sleep, and God can spare you in battle.

To a brave man, good and bad luck are like his left and right hand. He uses both.

The Bible may be the truth, but it is not the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
