So when you get a chance to look at things and chill and relax, it makes you want it more, and that’s why I’m so happy to be back!

I feel like I needed a balance. I don’t want to forget about my personal life and spending time with myself.

The idea of kids helping other kids is such a great way to introduce children to being involved in charitable causes and volunteer work, setting them on the path to doing good for others throughout their lives.

Music is passionate. It’s love for me.

To be on this set today, I feel very blessed for the second chance and for the opportunity, my record company believing in me and everybody here just showing me so much love and support.

There’s a lot of people out there who go through hard times, and they feel alone. They feel like nobody is there. But I’m in the same boat.

Getting divorced just because you don’t love a man is almost as silly as getting married just because you do.

I just want to continue being able to get roles that scare me and make me better and I think I can only grow as an artist if I do things that are scaring me and making me uncomfortable because that’s the only place you’ll learn anything.

I definitely felt like I needed a break, because when you do so much, you’re not able to appreciate the things that you accomplish.

I am a marvelous housekeeper. Every time I leave a man, I keep his house.

This week, penny collector Gene Sukie went to the bank and cashed in 10,000 pounds of pennies he had collected over 34 years, which were worth over 14,000 dollars. And, of course, I was in line behind him.

We’re ride or die. But I don’t accept the way we criticize and judge each other anymore. My personal growth doesn’t allow it.

How do you expect me to see your nasty-looking eye ball if you don’t look straight ahead?

I’m competitive with anyone who writes a good song – I don’t care if it’s a band or solo artist or whoever.

I don’t like to feel that I owe anything. I like to feel that I pay my own way – there’s no free lunch. And when people give me all these great compliments, I thank them but still go back to my room and practice. And a lot of times I say to myself ‘I wish I could be worthy of all the compliments that people give me sometime.’ I am not inventing anything that’s going to stop cancer or muscular distrophy or anything, but I like to feel that my time and talent is always there for the people that need it.

I could live without my phone. And one thing I’d love to do is experience having the freedom that kids had back in the ’80s.

That was me under the bath and the water being held down. The director wanted it to look as real as possible so he told Keanu, in front of me, don’t go easy on her. So it was scary.
