Someone once said that to make a regular person laugh, you need to dress a guy up like an old lady and push him down the stairs. You can sometimes get your own feelings across more strongly if you pretend that you’re singing it from someone else’s angle. But it’s always from me. It’s just a new way of framing it.

Yeah, I do also think that by the time you are in your forties, what you want to wear and what you think is sexy is not always, like, for another person. It’s what makes you feel good…. Sexy is all relative.

If I could be anyone, I’d choose the lead singer of Arcade Fire, Win Butler.

I did audition for “Home and Away”, but they never called me back. I feel I escaped in a way.

I feel like I needed a balance. I don’t want to forget about my personal life and spending time with myself.
