I seldom read anything that is not of a factual nature because I want to invest my time wisely in the things that will improve my life. Don’t misunderstand; there is nothing wrong with reading purely for the joy of it. Novels have their place, but biographies of famous men and women contain information that can change lives.

The six people who had the biggest impact on my life were all women. Had I been sexist, my life would have been far less fulfilling.

Experience is a hard teacher because she gives the test first, the lesson afterwards.

Just the fact that some geniuses were laughed at does not imply that all who are laughed at are geniuses. They laughed at Columbus, they laughed at Fulton, they laughed at the Wright brothers. But they also laughed at Bozo the Clown.

Thinking should become your capital asset, no matter whatever ups and downs you come across in your life.

When I thought I couldn’t go on, I forced myself to keep going. My success is based on persistence, not luck.
