When you are writing a script, you can’t help but stop and daydream about which actors are going to play the parts, and I kind of imagined Natalie Portman. Not just because she is beautiful, because obviously she is, but she is a wonderful actress who hasn’t had a chance in a long time to show the world how talented she is.

Blues don’t necessarily have to be sung by a person that came from Mississippi as I did, because there are people having problems all over the world.

People say: “Oh yeah, jobs for the boys”. I wish. You’ve got to fight even harder with a family like mine.

Brothers and sisters are as close as hands and feet.

I know some people say it’s not the best to work with your family, but I have never understood that because it’s always worked so well for me.
