If you become a teacher, by your pupils you’ll be taught.

You gotta have a dream. If you don’t have a dream, how you gonna make a dream come true?

I was brought up to be a gentleman. That means you know how to walk, talk and dress the part.

When you embark for strange places don’t leave any of yourself safely at the shore… Have the nerve to go into unexplored territory.

It’s not the time to look for excuses.

It is easier to fight for one’s principles than to live up to them.

Take the high road, there’s a lot less traffic up there.

Be bad, but at least don’t be a liar, a deceiver!

I don’t want to get to the end of my life and find that I lived just the length of it. I want to have lived the width of it as well.

Everything human is pathetic. The secret source of humor itself is not joy but sorrow. There is no humor in heaven.

I can normally tell how intelligent a man is by how stupid he thinks I am.
