I was also thinking about my family, my mum and dad who were there at that time in London, and worked as air raid wardens during the Blitz, and I was thinking about that. It was a respectful ceremony, and I stood in respect throughout it. Words are one thing – deeds something entirely different. Fine words are a mask to cover shady deeds. A sincere diplomat is like dry water or wooden iron.

Most politicians would have gone to a meeting like the one Don jr attended in order to get info on an opponent. That’s politics!

Voters decide nothing. Vote counters decide everything!

In our system leadership is by consent, not command. To lead a President must persuade. Personal contacts and experiences help shape his thinking. They can be critical to his persuasiveness and thus to his leadership.

Demographers affirm that choosing to have a second child is already a potential choice in favour of a third.

Socialism means keeping account of everything. You will have socialism if you take stock of every piece of iron and cloth.
