Looking at the balanced whole–the work needs, the family needs, the other needs that may be involved, and the possible implications of the various alternatives — you’ll try to come up with the best solution taking all factors into consideration. We are limited but we can push back the borders of our limitations.

You cannot tailor-make the situations in life but you can tailor-make the attitudes to fit those situations.

Be patient with yourself. Self-growth is tender; it’s holy ground. There’s no greater investment.

Great people do things before they’re ready.

You never know when a moment and a few sincere words can have an impact on a life.

Inspiration is for amateurs. I just get to work.

We are not animals. We are not a product of what has happened to us in our past. We have the power of choice.

I have yet to see any problem, however complicated, which, when you looked at it in the right way, did not become still more complicated.

Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
