Most people would rather die than think; in fact, they do so.

Anyone who does anything useful will not go unpaid.

I remember thinking during those times that I wanted to write in a way where there are no rules.

Me: Unbothered, moisturized, in my lane, well-hydrated, flourishing.

Those are my principles. If you don’t like them I have others.

Times have not become more violent. They have just become more televised.

Many people are busy trying to find better ways of doing things that should not have to be done at all. There is no progress in merely finding a better way to do a useless thing.

Do not do unto others as you would they should do unto you. Their tastes may not be the same.

We don’t see things as they are. We see things as we are.

If we admit that human life can be ruled by reason, then all possibility of life is destroyed.

You cannot be who and what you are unless you have a lifestyle, both internally and externally, that is designed to support that definition of self.

Necessity is the plea of every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.

Seeing things that are bothering you written down takes away their power. It gives you a perspective. Helps you contain them.

Unless you know who you are, you will always be vulnerable to what people say.
