No one lives long enough to learn everything they need to learn starting from scratch. To be successful, we absolutely, positively have to find people who have already paid the price to learn the things that we need to learn to achieve our goals.

Surround your mind with healthy thoughts, thoughts of faith, and not fear, and you will produce faith results instead of fear results.

You can make just about anything of your life-anything you will believe or will visualize, anything you will pray for and work for. Look deeply into your mind. Amazing wonders are there. Whatever the situation may be, you can improve it.

See yourself as a work in progress.

Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new.

The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.

Money isn’t the most important thing in life, but it’s reasonably close to oxygen on the ‘gotta have it’ scale.

If my life has had a theme, I suppose it has been a typical American theme in that, for most of it, I have been looking for happiness and success.

Do first things first, and second things not at all.

Stay Strong.

Some men see things as they are and ask why. Others dream things that never were and ask why not.

You were designed for accomplishment, engineered for success, and endowed with the seeds of greatness.

I read the paper every day and the Bible every day; that way I know what both sides are up to.

You must be the change you want to see in the world.

Reading has been the fuel of my motivation: it has changed the direction in which I have traveled, and it has enhanced my creative imagination more than any other activity I have ever pursued.

Ineffective people live day after day with unused potential. They experience synergy only in small, peripheral ways in their lives. But creative experiences can be produced regularly, consistently, almost daily in people’s lives. It requires enormous personal security and openness and a spirit of adventure.

When somebody challenges you, fight back. Be brutal, be tough.

Many great ideas go unexecuted, and many great executioners are without ideas. One without the other is worthless.

You never fail until you stop trying.

When there is no job related stress, you are more aware of your mate and children, if you are a parent.
