I had discovered art, or truth, or whatever you want to call it; I had seen a light I’d follow forever.

Jazz – it takes passion to make it happen!

There are wonderful things in Jazz, the improvisation, the liveliness, the being at one with the audience.

For me, there wasn’t a line between working and getting paid or simply playing for fun.

End phrases where you feel they should end. Don’t look for resolutions you don’t feel because the books call for them.
