All men should be feminists. If men care about women’s rights, the world will be a better place.
I do not believe that we have a right to tell other people, women, that they can’t control their bodies.
It’s about being alive and feisty and not sitting down and shutting up. Even if people would like you to.
The best thing you can do is to be a woman and stand before the world and speak your heart.

I’ve been at so many tables with so many folks who are imposters. But shame on us if we sit by and let an imposter talk us down.
If we want our daughters to dream bigger than we did we still have work to do.
There needs to be more variety on television so young girls growing up don’t feel pressured to look one specific way. Tall, thin, curvy, short, whatever you are, you are beautiful.
You can’t deny women their basic rights and pretend it’s about your religious freedom’. If you don’t like birth control, don’t use it. Religious freedom doesn’t mean that you can force others to live by your own beliefs.
I wanted to take part in this campaign because it’s so easy to forget the many women who live their lives in fear because of domestic violence. Men have an important role to play in sending out the message that real men do not hurt or abuse their partners.
I didn’t know what I wanted to do, but I always knew the woman I wanted to be.
The first thing about empowerment is to understand that you have the right to be involved. The second one is that you have something important to contribute. And the third piece is that you have to take the risk to contribute it.
But let me tell you, this gender thing is history. You’re looking at a guy who sat down with Margaret Thatcher across the table and talked about serious issues.
For me, as a feminist, I would say it should be up to the woman to decide if she wants to be a mom If she wants to go out and work, have a career other than being a mom, then she should be able to do that as well.
I’m a liability to them – I’m a woman, I’m empowered, I’m an artist. I’ve had executives who can’t come to my shows they’re so scared of me. I’ve been a thorn in many people’s sides just by existing.
I’ve come into loving and understanding the feminine side of me. How powerful a woman and her femininity is… how strong, how graceful, how gorgeous, how beautiful. I love getting to know the many sides of myself. I embrace them all.
And to all of the little girls who are watching this, never doubt that you are valuable and powerful and deserving of every chance and opportunity in the world to pursue and achieve your own dreams.
The difference between a broken community and a thriving one is the presence of women who are valued.
