I think I am actually humble. I think I’m much more humble than you would understand.

If you look at the history of our country over the last 100 years, there have been periods where science and research have been celebrated. They were really kind of held up as heroes in society, which encouraged a generation of people to go into these fields.

If you have a glass full of liquid you can discourse forever on its qualities, discuss whether it is cold, warm, whether it is really and truly composed of H-2-O, or even mineral water, or sake. Meditation is Drinking it!

Science becomes dangerous only when it imagines that it has reached its goal.

Science, after all, is only an expression for our ignorance of our own ignorance.
