What we become depends on what our fathers teach us.

I seldom read anything that is not of a factual nature because I want to invest my time wisely in the things that will improve my life. Don’t misunderstand; there is nothing wrong with reading purely for the joy of it. Novels have their place, but biographies of famous men and women contain information that can change lives.

Success is…knowing your purpose in life, growing to reach your maximum potential, and sowing seeds that benefit others.

I have yet to see any problem, however complicated, which, when you looked at it in the right way, did not become still more complicated.

Yes, it’s absolutely true that anything worth doing is worth doing poorly – until you can learn to do it well.

What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.

The more people tell you it’s not possible, that it can’t be done, the more you should be absolutely determined to prove them wrong. Treat the word ‘impossible’ as nothing more than motivation.

Those who believe they can move mountains, do. Those who believe they can’t, cannot. Belief triggers the power to do.

The one thing coaches cannot tolerate… is the individual who grows arrogant because he excelled at a lower level and believes he has nothing else to learn.

A genius! For 37 years I’ve practised fourteen hours a day, and now they call me a genius!
