Abandon yesterday, tomorrow and today. Cross over to the farthest shore beyond life and death.

When the student is ready the teacher will appear.

I’m a bit superstitious about certain things, like what shoes to wear. If I wear the wrong shoes, the whole day may go wrong. Or if I don’t get to the bottom of the stairs before the door closes – stupid little things like that. Then I also have all the normal ones, like don’t walking under ladders and so on.

When you get there, there isn’t any there there.

In the end, only three things matter: How much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.

I love learning about different religions, and discovering the different ways to worship, and to love the greatness and the higher being that surrounds us all. I definitely believe in a bigger presence, and I really respect all religions; at their core they all teach the same message – community and kindness and looking out for each other.

I’ve been up the mountain and I had a choice. Should I come down? So I came down. God said, Okay, you’ve been up on the mountain, now you go down. You’re on your own, free. Check in later, but now you’re on your own.

What is a soul? It’s like electricity – we don’t really know what it is, but it’s a force that can light a room.
