I have a habit of running from the things I’ve prayed for and then asking God to send them again.

I’m fine with the ups and downs in our story as long as the theme is love.

We may tell ourselves that love is not really available. But the deeper truth is that we don’t entirely trust it, and therefore have a hard time fully opening to it or letting it all the way into us. This disconnects us from our own heart, exacerbating our sense of love’s scarcity.

My love rumbles like the sternum of a lion. Be mindful of the beast you stir up.

We are asleep until we fall in Love!

All we do is drive. All we do is think about the feelings that we hide.

Love is the free exercise of choice. Two people love each other only when they are quite capable of living without each other but choose to live with each other.

Love alone is capable of uniting living beings in such a way as to complete and fulfill them, for it alone takes them and joins them by what is deepest in themselves.

Love is not liking somebody. Anyone can do that. Love is loving things that sometimes you don’t like.

They are different now than they were. My mother never had to say she was a queen to be one. I instinctively knew. So it makes sense now that I am sorely confused by the women who try to convince me with words.

Sorry that I can’t believe that anybody ever really starts to fall in love with me.

Love creates an ‘us’ without destroying a ‘me’.
