You’re only lonely if you’re not there for you.

I tell you, if you’re in the front row of the parade and you stop walking, pretty soon you’re back in the tuba section. And if you want to lead the parade you’ve got to keep moving.

At the end of the day, whether or not those people are comfortable with how you’re living your life doesn’t matter. What matters is whether you’re comfortable with it.

Well, let me tell you, if you’re 45, had three children and are post-menopausal, you’re not going to weigh what you did the day you graduated from high school. Get that out of your head. That’s a media-driven ideal that you’re never going to healthfully obtain.

Loving smart means believing in you, your worth and your value.

When you get emotional, slow your thoughts down, and listen attentively (write it down). That way, you’ll be able to hear what you are thinking. You do this becoming very still and very quiet, and recording your thoughts. These high-speed thoughts and internal reactions always precede your feelings and emotions. Trust me, you did tell yourself something if you now feel anger, mad, anxious, frustrated, sad or depressed. From now on, whenever you get upset, listen ever so carefully, to what you are telling yourself.

I would rather be healthy alone, then sick with someone else.

The genius of the American people is Self-Reliance.

An artist is always alone if he is an artist. What the artist needs is loneliness.

Through our eyes, the universe is perceiving itself. Through our ears, the universe is listening to its harmonies. We are the witnesses through which the universe becomes conscious of its glory, of its magnificence.

Do any of us really have a clue? We don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow. Or what word will come up in a conversation that will change our lives. You can be in the shower and scrubbing under your arm and find a lump that wasn’t there yesterday. I’m doing things here and now. Life is evolving. Every day life evolves.

Love in your heart wasn’t put there to stay, Love isn’t love ’til you give it away!

When you make changes in your life, make sure you’re moving toward the things you want.

Let us endeavor so to live that when we come to die even the undertaker will be sorry.
